Hi, OK, that eliminates one possibilityy. Has this error crippled your iTunes so that it's unusable? If so, you may wish to import your songs in smaller increments. I'm wondering if it's having issues populating the iTunes Database. Not sure why, but if that database has an issue part-way through the import, it won't be able to resolve the problem and you more or less have to re-import things again.
