Hi all:

I had to take my mac in recently for a genius bar appointment. It was
necessary to erase my computer and start from scratch. I had a time machine
backup, so I thought all was good. I was wrong!! Most things came over
perfectly fine, except some random voiceover settings.

Whenever I arrow through the dock, or a list of files/folders, voiceover
announces 1 of 12, 5 of 66, etc. It never used to do this. I'm sure I changed
it somewhere, but can't for the life of me recall how I got voiceover to stop
making these announcements.

Also, the 3 message colappsed disclosure triangle message is back in mail, even
though I've set verbosity to high. Am I missing a step somewhere?

Additionally, though this isn't a voiceover specific thing, my notification
center preferences don't seem to have been retained from the backup, for some
reason.

Thanks in advance.

-John
