Okay. Now, let's start with the fact that in Amadeus Pro, you have two cursers to control. One of them is the actual insertion point, and the other is the playback curser. At first, this threw me also. So, here's a quick lesson in how to deal with putting markers in to a file between two places so you can start to work with it.
1. Navigate using the arrow keys' to the first spot you want to drop a marker. 2. Now, Press command+y. This action will rout the insertion point to the playback curser. This is always necessary for taking actions at certain points in a file. 3. Now, the fastest way to drop a marker is just to press the p key. 4. Now, navigate to the point at which the next marker should be dropped. Take actions 2 and 3 above and you can now sart editing. Here's a quick tip. To move between markers, use command+right to move to the next marker and comand+left to move to the previous marker. IF, for example, you want to cut something out of a file and you've set your markers according to the instructions I gave above, fastest way to do this is as follows. 1. Move to the first marker. 2. Now, press option right to select to the next marker. Now, press delete. HTH. Sincerely, the Constantly Barefooted Ray, Still a very happy Mac and iphone user!
