Hi all, yesterday I received an email from the apple accessibility team. This email I wrote in regards to the word 'rather' as it sounded to me that this particular word seems to cut off the beginning so it would sound like there was no letter R to accenuate the word. I hope this makes sense. In any case, they asked me to provide an example with this word in a sentence to still see if its occurring I guess. Would anyone of you good people kindly write back something with this word in a context of whatever sentence you like so that I can see if it is still happening. Also, what are your thoughts? Is it just me with this word or are any of you of the same opinion that this word doesn't quite sound write when reading or writing it. In my email, they say that there engineers are "reviewing voices." This got me thinking so while we're on the topic of words that may not quite sound write to your ears, it maybe a good idea sending in your own experiences with certain words that you feel may need improving on just so that we can get our voices that we listen to day in and out the best quality we possibly can.
I will be honest, I have completely forgotten about sending in this email and had to think about what they were asking me to supply them with. Lets just say that when I sent it, it was around the days of Lion and 7.2 or 3 back then I believe because at the time I was somewhere between those versions 7.3 having not been long out when I sent this particular email. So it just goes to show you, that they do get back to you even when you have forgotten about it yourself. lol I of course, mean this in a good way though. As they say, better late than never. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
