Hi everyone, I use my google account and gmail a lot to create new acoounts on sites etc. As an extra precaution i thought it might be wise to setup 2-step verification. The setting itself went fine but then getting apple mail to work did not. Since apple mail cant work with sms verification codes you have to generate an application specefic password on the google site. That part on the site, at least with safari does not seem to be accessible. I do see the dimmed generate button but not the parts where you should be able to select your mail application and the device that you use. I wonder if others have experienced this as well and if there are any solutions (besides turning the safety feature off again which i did for the time being)? Thanks in advance, Greetings, Anouk,
