I'm sure we will get different opinions on different GPS apps. I started a long time ago with Navigon and even when I acquired other GPS apps to try, I always went back to Navigon. I still do have Motion GPS X on my iPhone, but it's out dated and I would have to pay for it again to have the voice guidance. What's nice about Navigon is that I can choose the states that I need to have on the phone and not have to install the entire huge file. This will save memory space on the phone if one is limited. With TomTom, that's not an option, although I have TomTom Western Europe. I only install it when I am traveling overseas. Each GPS application will have their strengths and weaknesses, so the features that are important to you are what you need to look for in the app. HTH.
