Hello, One important thing mentioning here is that if you go with a USB mixer, you will eliminate the analog to digital conversion step that will be used if you use a tradational line-in mixer. Now this isn't saying that you will notice any degraded audio, but this may become a problem. Also, if you chose to go with a USB mixer, you will not experience any hums and other annoyances, if for some reason, your line-in cable is not properly shielded.
