I am using Win 8 in bootcamp and treating this portion of my MBA as though I was running a stand-a-lone Windows machine. That said, I have installed Nod-32 antivirus because of the nature of Windows having the potential of catching a virus. I have been there and done that, so I don’t want to bring this machine down or have to reformat it. JMO. I don't give Windows direct access to my Mac's drive as usually being able to cut and paste between the two worlds does what I need. You can also set it up where you can copy files from the Mac to the PC and back. While PC viruses in files moved to your Mac won't effect your Mac, you might pass them along to another Windows user who will care. Also, while few voiceover users will care about Office for Mac because of its near total inaccessibility, any Word macro viruses are, by definition, cross-platform.
