You are looking for the Square credit card reader. It is free, and Square takes 
a small percentage of every transaction you make as payment. It connects to 
your headphone jack, so generally people plug it in, turn VO off, have the 
customer swipe their card and then sign their name on the screen, then remove 
the card reader and re-enable VO. Unfortunately, there is no headphone jack on 
the reader, so there is no way to hear VO while conducting a transaction.
