One otter way to get foreign language signs is to use the option key in
combination with letters on the keyboard.

Here are some of them, with examples in Portuguese.

***

Soft C, C cedilha, option plus c.
Example: Cabeça.

Circumflex: option plus i.
Example: vôvô.

Trema: option plus u.
Example: Vou Ua praia toda a segunda-feira.

Tilde: option plus n.
Example: Amanhã.

Acute accent: Option plus e.
Example: O peito do pé de Pedro é preto.

HTH,

Antonio
