To be honest, as others have said, most routers are going to work with 11g and the older 11b, perhaps even the new 11n. Because of this it doesn't *erally* matter which one your wireless card is. The manual for your router might go into a bit of detail about it but trust me, unless you've explisitly told it to only except connections from one of the 3 main standards (b, g and n) and not from any of the others (Which would be pretty unusual) it really doesn't matter.
The only time that it could be a problem is if your using a 11b card and are trying to listen to music wirelessly from another box, but as others have said, its probably not going to be b.
