Hello Everyone,

Recently, I published a link to an outstanding Windows based commercial DVD
ripper that is fast, easy to use, and easily customizable. Unfortunately,
at present anyway, the application is not Jaws accessible. Turn the page,
as the saying goes.

Now, I am on the quest for the perfect Mac based commercial DVD ripper which
is as easy to use as the Windows program mentioned above.

By the way, thanks to all of you that made recommendations on this subject.
I researched them all and I must say that I am amazed at the lack of
comparable DVD ripping software for OSX. That is, while one can certainly
remove DRM and one can convert DVD content from one format to another, as
yet, I nor at least 5 locally employed professional Mac techs could find an
app that does it all in one step. That is to say, the software removes the
DRM, while at the same time converting the selected chapters to the desired
output format without first having to store the video on the hard disk.

Like a dog with a bone, I continued my search and, finally, I located a Mac
OS 10.6 compatible utility that meets all of the specifications listed
above. The current cost of this application is approximately 50 USD.

Excellent, yes?

Well, upon downloading and installing a demonstration copy of the app, I was
completely dismayed to discover that this app does not appear to be
accessible with VoiceOver. Is this possible?

I don't wish to appear naïve, but I was under the impression that since VO
is part of the OS, virtually all Mac apps would be accessible.

Because I am still learning the intricacies of VO and the Mac OS, I would
ask that someone on the list with more experience than I attempt to access
the application. Perhaps there is some extended technique of which I am not
aware. What I do know is that this application is marvelous and does
exactly what I need if only I could access it via VO.

By the way, the DEMO version is the same as the full version accept that one
can only rip 3 minutes of content and there is a watermark added to the
video.

The name of the software is:
iSkySoft Media Converter for Mac
The URL is:
http://www.iskysoft.com

The application's user manual may be found at:

I eagerly await your findings and thank you in advance.

Mark
