The best way is to save the document in iCloud. So if the document is already on your Mac, just open it, and then choose "Move to..." from the File menu, and then choose to save it in iCloud. Then when you open Pages on your iOS device, you'll see that document in the file browser. Your other assumptions are correct. Best, Nic
