Hi!
The method I like is make a empty playlist then go to the album if you want to 
add a whole album and in order just select all the tracks and bring up 
VO+shift+m and arrow down to the add to playlist sub menu, find the playlist 
and just hit enter!
Also if you add music just going through tracks in order [but not the order you 
want them to play] after they are in the playlist when you go into that 
playlist and wish to change the order Cut and paste works!
Find a track to move and Command+x and then move to where you want it and 
Command+V!
Just another option!
