Emilio,

Actually I have never used the Record Macro feature of KM. I believe that
feature is for sighted folks to move the mouse and click things in the app or
whatever.

I apologize for the confusion about messing up other keyboard commands. Here is
what we were referring to. After adding a macro you have to choose the trigger.
If you choose the hot key trigger there is a edit box where you key the stroke
you want to associate with that macro. If you do not navigate away from this
area using VO right or left arrow, then the next keystroke you perform will now
be associated with that macro. So for instance, I wanted to change the hot key
I had associated with a macro to something else. I navigated to that area and
changed it. I then did not navigate out of the area as all I wanted to do was
change that one thing. I command tabbed to move back to the app that I was
playing with and nothing happened. Freaked me right the hell out. After
sweating and swearing for about 5 minutes I realized what I had done. I went
back and changed the hot key back to my original key stroke and all was well.

I hope this makes sense and helps some of you.

Keith
