Another deficit on the Mac is braille translation and music braille translation. I have to continue to use Windows for this. I have also not found a way of importing my old Outlook Express emails into Mac Mail. Supposedly some expensive apps do this, but it's not guaranteed to work so haven't spent the money. Wy Apple doesn't make this work I don't know. That said, I love the Mac and use it exclusively for my personal needs. It's just some professional tasks I still need Windows for. This includes word processing which I, too find clunky on the Mac. But, maybe I need to take a course and learn it properly.
