Hi,

You likely renamed it by accident by pressing return on the HD then typing your
dog's name. If you're used to Windows, this is quite normal as you'd be used
to pressing return/enter to open the item but on the Mac, that keystroke sets
you up to rename an item.

Regarding your Adobe questions, the Adobe Flash 12 item on your Desktop is
likely a disk image. When you downloaded the installer, it probably downloaded
the .dmg file then automatically opened it. Just navigate to that item and
press cmd-e to eject it. I could be mistaken, but, I believe if you go through
the installation process for Adobe 12, it will simply overwrite any earlier
versions so there should be no need to uninstall version 11 first.

HTH.
