Hi, What is causing it, I'm not sure, but here's what to do about it. If you want to download a file, hit return. It will not appear to do anything, but the download will start automatically, and just appear in your downloads folder. If you want to open it in a new window, hit option return. Must admit, I never use the context menus unless I have to as I usually find the OS built in methods more reliable. One further tip, you can either navigate to the downloads list, or go to your dock and find the downloads folder, and while a download is in progress, it will tell you how far along it is.
