I confess, I haven't been following this topic too closely, but I've recently come across an app for both Mac & iDevices called cloudClip manager.
This might be a perfect solution for someone that wants to copy URLs. Whatever you copy to the clipboard, is available across all your devices. I'm not sure how many clips it'll hold, but so far I've seen half dozen.
