Yes, I tried that, I tried Windows intercom of which starts narrator and Windows 8, and I tried hitting the start button and typing a near raider and pressing enter. Whenever I try to install the VM tools, I get a message that I cannot do this while the easy install is still working, so I think this must still be going on. Guess I'll have to wait for sighted help. Bill
