Hi all, I got Mavericks to install on this 2010 MBP and am now at the setup screen. Suddenly, though, I lost speech. I didn't lose sound, as VO still makes its clicks and beeps, and I get error tones from OSX. There is a Voiceover dialog on the screen, just the rate adjustment, but it won't go away. Cmd-tab, cmd-w/q, escape, cmd-f5, even the power button all result in an error tone. I have no speech and can't figure out what went wrong. Has anyone ever seen this? Again, it is during the setup process; I gave the Mac my wifi password, skipped iCloud sign-in as it is not my machine, set the full name and admin password, and then this happened. Any ideas? Thanks!
