Hi.
I was not able to access theDropbox settings from my e xtras menu, so I went
to check if I have the latest version.  I then noticed the Dropbox app is
now in the app store.  Do you know if I can install the app store version
overtop the version I downloaded directly from the site?

I believe so.  But, you should be able to access that quite easily with the
latest version of Drop Box.
