Hi all, Please disregard my last message about installing Mavericks. I figured out what I was doing wrong, and it was nothing to do with the Mac. I am now running into a different problem, something about the installer not being able to be verified, but at least I could get the install to begin. I am not sure why I got a verification problem, as this same drive worked fine on my own computer, but at least I can get things to install when I get this sorted out.
