Hi, Probably the two best ways of doing this would be either to do a Spotlight search for .avi files, then select them from the search results and do a cmd-delete to move them to the Trash. The second way would be to sort your window by the kind column thus all the .avi files would be grouped together. You could then select the .avi files quickly and cmd-delete them. To sort by a specific column, press VO-shift-back slash, navigate to the desired column and VO-space on it, press VO-shift-back slash to get back out of the headings. The second method is only useful, though, if all the .avi files are in one location.
