Wonder if SETI, as a high CPU app, is interfering with notifications?

Right, if you hadn't turned on your computer in a few days, it would be logical for notifications to pile up. in my case, though, I leave mine on at all times for cloud computing stuff with sETI and other apps, and it still does it.

On the other hand, there are different fingers.

Hey Teresa,

I do have this happen if I haven’t turned on my Mac Air in a few days as soon as I turn it on I get days old notifications being read to me. Yes, kind of strange. On Mar 6, 2014, at 10:27 PM, Chris Blouch <cblo...@aol.com <mailto:cblo...@aol.com>> wrote:

I thought notifications were supposed to go to all the devices you have registered to your AppleID. So at least the part about getting the same notification on your phone and your Mac makes some sense. Not sure about why there are delays though.

Hi, all,

Has anyone else had a problem with notifications which causes them to trigger several at a time? I'll get Facebook and calendar ones on my iPod, then a few days later, I'll get an unrelated one on my Mac Mini, followed by several I've already received on my device. Maybe I'm missing some sort of setting on the mac?

thanks,
teresa

Slow down; you’ll get there faster.
