Hi, You are mapping a windows key to a Mac key, so the insert key comes from Windows, and you map it to a key on your Mac keyboard. You go into fusion settings with command-e, find the keyboard tab, and add the two mappings. The effect is that when in Fusion, your Mac key of choice is turned into an insert key and lost to Mac, but as soon as you go into a Mac app, you get it back again. If Mac had an insert key, you wouldn't need to do the mapping at all!
