OK everyone, I am truly not understanding. Please give me step-by-step instructions on the easiest way to read and delete mail. I have conversations together now, although if I understood what Alex wrote yesterday filters will put each group in a new "folder" in Gmail. I do not want this. I just thought all conversations from a group could follow each other in the inbox. Anyway, I keep hearing imbedded imbedded when I enter on a mail message and open up the conversation, and I seem to have a problem with mail coming in when reading a message and messing my reading up. I just feel very incompetent at the moment when I thought I at least thought I understood mail! Sorry for going over and over this. Thank you for your patience and any help you can give. I don't want to be a power user of the Mac, just mail, internet and runningg maybe a few apps, but impasse at the moment! (smiles) Reggie and Allegra
