Hello All, I'll start with TapTapSee first. As others have said, one needs to be a good picture taker to use the app well without wasting the picture count. I have used TapTapSee to recognize T-shirts with writing or a motif on it. After it has been recognized, I use the Looktel Recognizer app to take the image and record it in that app. It is also great to recognize pictures in ones camera roll. With the crowd option feature in TapTapSee, they can tell one about the photo in general, so one can label it.
Like others have stated, I don't have problems using Talking Goggles. I have used it when I have received an error message on my PC. It has recognized all sorts of things for me. At times, I will need to switch to another app such as CamFind or Digit-eyes to get object recognition. However, it's terrific that we now have so many options to obtain written information when there's no sighted assistance. JMO.
