Hi, Sometimes if I use one of the built-in Keyboard Commander commands, such as Option-T to read the time or Option-U to read the number of unread messages, VO stops talking for up to 30 seconds afterward. The VO sounds are still there, so I know my sound card is still engaged and VO is running, but there's no speech. Going to the dock seems to help, but only after I try the command a few times. So maybe it's simply that the problem fixes itself at about the time I go there. The same thing happened today when I switched my computer's output from the default Headphones setting to a USB headset and when a Syrynx New Tweet sound played just as an e-mail message began to read. I'm running the latest version of Snow Leopard. Has anyone else experienced this?
