I'm way behind on my email so somebody may have already pointed this out. There is an iPhone app called Snatch which allows you to use an iPhone as a trackpad for your mac via wifi. I haven't tried it but I'd be curious as to whether it would be recognized for gesture input on laptops which don't support it or desktops which have separate keyboards (and no trackpad).
