There was an article just recently on tidbits.com describing how to assign AppleScripts to PageUp PageDown Home, and End using the "defaults" command in terminal. So I believe these are kept in application specific preference files.
I'll bet that Ester goes and finds the article and gives us more useful information. She is absolutely amazing!
