yes, and I had the same experience in leopard also. I have not been  
pressing the short cut keys. you leave VO over something unlabeled and  
it seems to say, help tag and what the item is. I can't guarantee you  
it will work in everything, but I discovered this in skype today when  
I was changing some of my settings. it has so far only worked on  
buttons, but useful.
