I ordered Fusion a couple of weeks ago, so can I assume I have the correct
version for Snow Leopard?  I'm ordering a MacBook Pro on Friday.

Assuming Fusion works ok under Snow Leopard, there should be no effect on
your Windows installation. According to VMWare, Fusion 2.0.5 and higher is
supposed to run on 32-bit Snow Leopard.
