In regards to your Snow Leopard Question, here is how the licensing  
works.

Single User
This is the default one most people buy if they have one computer they  
wish to upgrade.  This is the one selling for 30 dollars,  will  
upgrade one computer only.

Family Pack
This is Snow Leopard, retailing at 49 dollars, and you are allowed to  
install it on 5 computers.

There is another package.. but it is like 500 dollars, for a huge  
licensing allowance.
