I agree wit James and Nash (not for myself but others out there that might 
be a potential market) and they would not have to be high quality voices, i 
mean it would already just be a help if you could do basic stuff with them 
and if you wanted high quality you could get ivox or whatever other 
commercial altenratives are available. I mysel fuse hal for windows for 
example and it comes with a built-in speech engine called orpheus, now I 
dont call that exactly high quality but it is fast and gets the job done.
