Hello All:
I wanted to clean up my Itunes libraries, make sure that I didn't have
duplicate files etc. and generally make it easier to keep track of
where everything is getting downloaded to, add playlists and
synchronise it all iwth my IPhone. However, now that I've tidied up my
iTunes folders, and reset the preference for where the library is
supposed to be, it is showing my a blank songs list. Either that or
it's saying there's no library in the folder I've chosen. I elected to
put all my albums and songs in the iTunes, iTunes music folder but it
says there's no library associated with that folder. Can I simply pick
up the library.xml, the other library files and transfer them to the
iTunes Music, folder? In the advanced menu of itunes preferences, it
says it's looking in Users, Rebecca Redmile's MacBook, music, iTunes,
iTunes music but it keeps showing me a blank list and there's no way
for me to search by album etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Rebecca
