It would help you then think of components and sessions as, components
being say devices such as sound cards, microphones, mixers and that sort
of thing, sessions being those times when you Hijack applications such
as Skype and so on.

Yes, you can "Hijack" a stream from the Internet and have Voiceover
talking away, it won't make any difference to the recording or hijacking
at all, that's one of the beauties of Audio Hijack Pro, you can have
multiple components and sessions being Hijacked at any one time.

To hijack a stream of audio on the Internet you may need to be aware of
a few things, firstly does the link on the Internet to the stream launch
a "Stand Alone" application such as a media player like Itunes? If so
then you need to Hijack Itunes and if you want to record the stream set
your settings for the recording with the record tab and press record,
that's all their is too it. If the link plays the stream in Safari then
you just Hijack Safari in the same way. If another media player is
launched as as VLC or Real Player then you need to set up a "New
Session" which is done with the "New Session" button found near the
bottom of the screen, here you define the application or source to be
hijecked and so on.
