Hi,

I want to record a podcast where I demonstrate the use of the iPod
Shuffle. Ideally, I would like to be able to record my voice, the
iPod, and VoiceOver simultaneously. I have a USB microphone and a Mac
Mini. Thanks to the suggestions of Esther and others, I have learned
the rudiments of Amadeus Pro and Audio Hijack - enough to make basic
recordings and edit a bit, anyway. I thought Audio Hijack Pro would
let me record VoiceOver and either the microphone or the iPod when I
set it to System Audio, but when I do that, it only records VoiceOver.
And Amadeus Pro seems to record either the microphone or the iPod, but
not VoiceOver. Is there any way I can do this? If I can record the
mike and VoiceOver, I can probably connect the Shuffle to speakers and
crank them up enough for the mike to record it, so is there any way I
can do that if I can't record everything?

Thanks to everyone who has helped so far. And I'm really grateful for
a quick-start guide to Amadeus Pro that I found on
HowToWorkThisThing.com. I now know how to rewind and fast forward with
that program, which makes all the difference where editing is concerned.

Best,
anna
