i have the 13 inch mbp, and love it, when i was upgrading the ram, i found a surprise, there in addition to the 2 speakers faceing up, is a small speaker under the bottom facing down. i believe this is intended to give a fuller sound. i didn't notice any differences from the 13 and 15 inch mbps.
