Hi, Anna, I'm sorry to hear that you have been hit by the same malidy that struck me when I first switched. Parralels is indeed inaccessible. I recommend VMWare Fusion for $89 or if you're a student $49. Virtualbox is free for non-comercial use and is $30/year for comercial use. Virtualbox is not very accessible, but rather the Command-Line is the easier way out on that one.
The reason Parallels is not working with JAWS is the Video Intercept Manager does not play nicely. If nothing else, use Window-Eyes or NVDA. If I may ask, what do you need Windows for. I understand you need it for our job, but what exactly are you doing with it. It is possible you can do this on your Mac without the headache of Windows.
