Hi Barry,

Could you E Mail me offf list and tell me what I have to do? Do I need to 
install something other than TEXShop or is the Latex already built in to Mac 
OS X?


Also, I E Mailed Apple Accessibility about that problem and someone very 
kindly explained what ligatures were although i can't remember.   I think 
the work around for  this problem is to put braces around the faulty 
ligatures.
