Hi Mike,

I'm not certain but I think that checkbox refers to a block-by-block copy of 
the volume which makes it bootable versus a file-by-file copy which is 
perhaps not bootable, depending on what format was used. If you toggle the 
checkbox on and off and read the "What's Going to Happen" text field, I 
think you'll see the different effect this checkbox will have on your clone.
