hmmm. that doesn't seem like an inaccessibility to me, it makes sense.if you're using tiger, you'd get the tiger voices cuz Alex isn't installed with Tiger so there'd be nothing to sync to for it right? since the voices come off your computer? or maybe the shuffle is different. but I'd still think that if you were syncing with tiger, you wouldn't be able to get alex. but maybe I'm wrong. I have a nano lol. peace and positivity:) Jessi with guide dog Goldina I am only one but I am one, I can't do everything but I can do something, the something I can do, I must do, and by the grace of God, I will! count it all joy, no matter what! ----- Original Message ----- From: "M AUSTEN" <m.aust...@btinternet.com> To: <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> Sent: Thursday, May 21, 2009 11:04 AM Subject: Re: Issues with New iPod Shuffle
Hello Dave, Thanks you for your reply. I have and iMac G5 running iTunes 8 and when I Sync the iPod with it it installs the windows version of VoiceOver Voice as heard on the advert on the Apple web page. Not the Alex voice. After and hour on the phone to Apple Care Support I was told that there was no way no way I could get the better Apple VoiceOver Voice if Syncing in Tiger. I just wanted to comment on this at Accessibility.
