Hi,

What happens when you go to a website with midi files like:

http://rock.mididb.com/beatles/

Do those songs play correctly with your QuickTime plugin for Safari?

If you're running Leopard, after interacting (VO-Shift Down Arrow)
with the web page, use VO-Command-H to navigate to "Free The Beatles
MIDI Files" then VO-Down Arrow to the links. VO-Spacebar to select
one of the tracks and start it playing in your browser. Command-Left
Bracket to stop playing and return to the selection page. VO means
hold down the Command and Option keys together with an other specified
keys mentioned above.

If you're running Tiger, just bring up links chooser menu (VO-U),
arrow down to your song selection, then press return to go to the
link. VO-Spacebar as before to activate the link and start it playing
in your browser.

Midi support should be built into your iBook, so as Chris says, you
might want to be sure the files you're having trouble with are not
corrupted or protected.

Cheers,

Esther
