That's precisely what I did with my 20 + gig music collection; transferred it via my WIFI network from my windows to my Mac, then worked with Itunes to massage it into some sort of order. When I first started, I was afraid of Itunes, but now I like it quite much, especially after the latest build fixed a few nasty bugs.
