What happens when you refresh the page with Command-R?  Does that  
expose any other content?  Another thing that sometimes works is to  
click in the page and select all (Command-A), then either navigate to  
the Services Menu on the menu bar and select Speech then "Start  
Speaking Text" or set up a shortcut key in the Text to Speech pane of  
the Speech Menu under System Preferences so you can select all and use  
the hot key to read the full pane.  (If you set up a shortcut key to  
"Start Speaking Text" under the Speech submenu of the Services menu  
under Safari on the menu bar I think this uses less memory  
resources).  If you want to read more about how to setup shortcuts  
like this, I've described it how to do this for a shortcut to send  
selections to TextEdit, which is yet another way to read a complete  
web page (via sending selected text to TextEdit through the Services  
menu); you can skip over the first couple of paragraphs and read the  
end of a post about Low-Vision Mac use from the archives:
