What happens when you refresh the page with Command-R? Does that expose any other content? Another thing that sometimes works is to click in the page and select all (Command-A), then either navigate to the Services Menu on the menu bar and select Speech then "Start Speaking Text" or set up a shortcut key in the Text to Speech pane of the Speech Menu under System Preferences so you can select all and use the hot key to read the full pane. (If you set up a shortcut key to "Start Speaking Text" under the Speech submenu of the Services menu under Safari on the menu bar I think this uses less memory resources). If you want to read more about how to setup shortcuts like this, I've described it how to do this for a shortcut to send selections to TextEdit, which is yet another way to read a complete web page (via sending selected text to TextEdit through the Services menu); you can skip over the first couple of paragraphs and read the end of a post about Low-Vision Mac use from the archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries@googlegroups.com/msg00719.html Cheers, Esther --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
