As some of you might remember the right command key on my Macbook
stopped working several months ago. Stupid me, I never got it fixed
and I was still under warrentee. Well, now the a, q, z, 1 and delete
keys no longer work. Thank The Gods, I was able to save my important
work etc to my external hard disk before that stopped being
recognised. I restarted several times and the situation is still the
same. Needless to say, I'm writing this with the XP machine.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna reinstall Leopard and hope that fixes the problem.
I also hope that the cd rom drive and the eject button will work or
I'll be stuck in the middle of an install and have no way to finish
it. Ihave no idea how much Apple would charge to fix such a thing.
To make matters worse, I have my registered copy of the Dimitris voice
for InfoVox IVox and also a program called TapeDeck on there. So what
will happen to my licenses? Can I write to the companies and explain
my situation? I don't want to reinstall these things and have the
registration get sent to them again and then get in trouble cause they
think I have it on two machines. Any help, advice or shared
experiences would be appreciated.
