Hello, It does it on line. I have never had a problem with the conversions. In fact, you can even see when it was last updated. When After you plug in the first value and go to the conversion menu and pick currency, you will see the update as well as changing the to and from options and the okay button. It works every time. In fact, it even tells you where the updates were from.
