I'm using ubuntu lucid on a macbook pro 5,5 model, and am bewildered as to why
the dkms touchpad driver that we were encouraged to use on the setup page
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro5-5/Karmic#Touchpad (bcm5974)
has not been included in the main repositories. I don't care if it is classed
as 'experimental', I have been using it for 3 months now without any issue, and
the driver that comes out of the box is absolutely horrifically bad by
comparison. Please can we include this module by default instead, and solve our
collective headaches?
