I've just tried
$ apport-collect 416516
but all I get is a message box telling me that no additional information
has been collected.

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
When booting the Jaunty liveCD on a MacBook (rev. 5,2) the touchpad is very
hard to use. To move the mouse pointer at all, one has to press down very hard
on the touchpad.
